Namibia is one of the biggest and fast-growing logistic hubs in Southern Africa as more and more landlock countries in the region are drawn to shipping their goods to and from overseas through the port of Walvisbay, which is located in the coastal town of Walvisbay in Namibia. The port is one of the biggest in Africa receiving approximately 3000 vessels and about 5 million tonnes of cargo every year. The high demand of cargo shipping and handling is boosted by good port infrastructure, fast custom clearing time and reliable road network in the country.
